Background: Once a simple construction worker, Deadpool knew he had a very high tolerance for pain. Working alone one night, a pair of arsonists broke into the building under construction and torched the ground floor. Caught 30 stories up, Deadpool tried flee, but ended up caught in the inferno. His whole body engulfed in flames, he leapt from five floors up and landed in a swimming pool, breaking both of his burned legs. While tracking the arsonists, he met up with Kcale who helped him to exact his revenge. Afterwards, too disfigured to return to a normal life, Deadpool followed Kcale back to Mercenary Legion headquarters, where he now hunts for cash and vengeance against the cruel world.
